Point Saint George Aster (Aster chilensis 'Point Saint George') is a low-growing California native perennial with bright green foliage and masses of soft lavender, daisy-like flowers. This vigorous spreading selection blooms from summer into fall and often continues into winter, providing valuable late-season nectar for bees and butterflies. Its spreading habit makes it especially useful as a groundcover, for slopes, large naturalistic plantings, and erosion control.

Quick care: Full sun to part shade • Low water once established • Drought tolerant • Adaptable to most soils • Evergreen • Vigorous spreading habit • Excellent late-season pollinator plant. See the Plant Profile and Growing Conditions below for full details.
